Due to its fusion of various customs, religions, and cultures of the people, Sikkim has been a diverse place since antiquity. The Lepchas, the Bhutias, and the Nepalese are the three tribes that have occupied Sikkim for ages. Even today, the people and culture of Sikkim are composed of them.
